Fredericton, New Brunswick’s unassuming capital city is quietly becoming a Mecca of both mountain biking, and craft beer. These two dovetail beautifully, and have inspired an epic single day event.

The Fredericton Singletrack Challenge is a one-day, long-distance mountain bike endurance ride showcasing the depth and quality of Fredericton’s trail network. Riders tackle roughly 165 km of riding, connecting all the best singletrack, weaving through river valley terrain, crown land forests, ATV trails, roadways, and purpose-built mountain bike trail systems. Designed to push experienced riders to their limits, the Challenge rewards patience, resilience, and smart pacing over the course of a full day in the saddle.

What makes the Challenge uniquely Fredericton is its connection to the local craft beer community. The route passes by six independent microbreweries, each serving as a symbolic and literal checkpoint for the ride— a reminder that every kilometer is earned and every finish celebrated. The Fredericton Singletrack Challenge blends endurance riding with local culture, creating an experience that is as much about place as it is about personal accomplishment.
